How to Create your Custom Website

NowRenting provides a custom website for you to showcase your properties.

  1. To start building your website, click on your username in the upper right, then on Public Website.

  2. Make sure that your website is visible by navigating to Public Website Settings on the left and turning the Use Personalized Website toggle on.

  3. Public Website Settings This section also allows you to change the subdomain your website appears at under nowrenting.com, or, if you own your own web domain, to use that in addition.

  4. Colors and Content This section allows you to choose between layouts and color schemes for your website. Explore all the available options — you’re sure to find a look that fits your company. This section also allows you to edit the content that will appear on the home page of your website.

  5. Communities Showcase your properties here! This is the section where you can enter the information about your properties that prospective tenants want to know. Click on the Add Another Community button and fill out the appropriate fields. If you want this community to appear on the homepage, be sure to check the “Feature this community on your website” box.

  6. Testimonials Have a stack of nice comments by your tenants? Show them off here! Click on the “Add a Testimonial” link to create a new testimonial, and then fill in the appropriate fields.

  7. Featured Content This section allows you to enter a series of slides that will be shown on the homepage. Advertise specials, show off what makes you different, emphasize a recent vacancy or just brag.

  8. FAQ Information entered in this section will appear under the “Resident Resources” tab. Anything and everything your tenants and prospective tenants could want to know.
